Extracurricular Activities

While Cadets in JRHS NJROTC are not required to participate in our plethora of extracurricular activities in order to be a part of the unit, doing so is indicative of a Cadet with a high level of dedication and drive and will often bring much recognition throughout the Cadet’s NJROTC tenure. Our unit offers a wide range of extracurricular and in-school activities that appeal to a broad spectrum of interests; from athletics to academics to drill and uniform inspection and even community service, there is something for everyone.

“Honor, Courage, and Commitment” – the Navy Core Values

Commitment is important for any Cadet hoping to be a member of any team. As one of the Navy’s Core Values, we highly stress that a Cadet’s membership on the team leans more heavily on their commitment and attitude than on skill alone. This is something to keep in mind when considering joining one of our teams. Please check the tabs in the menu for more information.
