End of Year Banquet 2018

On May 19th, the JRHS NJROTC End of Year Banquet was hosted at the Thomas R. Fulghum Conference Center. This ceremonial end to the 2017-2018 NJROTC year not only marked the end of the year, but the beginning of a new legacy within the unit. Awards were presented, food was catered, and fun was had by cadets and parents alike! The evening kicked off with a color guard lead by the new color guard commander, c/ENS Dillon Brandau. After being followed by an opening invocation by c/ENS Ryan Watson, and a moving description of the Missing Man Table from c/SCPO Quinn Lilly, dinner commenced.

As dinner came to a close, c/LCDR Thomas Shashaty took some time to bring some recollections of past memories within the unit. This was eventually followed by the recognition of our graduating seniors: c/SN Austin Bell, c/SN William Biringer, c/SR Yoselyn Bobadilla, c/SR Douglas Coleman, c/ENS Joel Ezell, c/SN Savannah Layne, c/CPO Quinn Lilly, and c/LCDR Thomas Shashaty.IMG_2982

Over the next hour, many hard-working cadets received awards for their achievements.
